Location, Location, Location

Every good film maker knows the importance of the perfect location. It sets the tone, it works with the color palette of the film, it gives actors the ability to interact with their surroundings. If you’re building a set - well then, you can make it whatever you want it to be. But if you’re shooting in the ‘real world,’ finding the perfect location can be a full-time job. Here’s a place that makes finding your location easy.

You probably know about the beaches and coastlines of Portugal. You probably know about the cities of Lisbon and Porto. You probably know about the Algarve in the south. But have you heard of the pine forests around the country? Personally, I’ve never heard anyone mention them. But they’re amazing places full of mystery and tranquility. And if you’re looking for this type of setting, Portugal has plenty. There are even Eucalyptus forests that offer their own kind of look and feel.

Here’s the thing about Portugal: Every turn opens up a new vista of mountains, streams, rivers, ocean views, cities, towns, country roads, forests, architecture, etc. What can you film here? Documentaries, commercials, short films, full-length films, historical stories, adventure stories - the list goes on and on. It’s definitely worth a look for any film maker seeking a place that’s convenient and full of options.

We’re on the ground helping production teams with pre-scouting, scouting and more. We’re paving the way for those seeking unique locations. Give us a shout.
